A studio, not a factory.
Simple Smart Company is a small independent studio in Utrecht, the Netherlands. We build consumer software with privacy as a default, craft as a standard, and no nonsense in between. Founded in 2025. Currently four shipped products, plus selective client work for teams building things we would use ourselves.

We believe software should respect the person using it. That is not a marketing line — it is a constraint on every feature we ship. No ads. No tracking. No dark patterns. AI where it helps a human make a better decision, and deterministic code everywhere else.
What we believe
Simple beats clever.
A confused user is a feature gap. We measure success by whether you can do the thing you came to do, not by how many features we listed in the changelog.
AI earns its place.
AI is great at language and judgement and terrible at arithmetic. We use it where it makes the product better and keep deterministic code in charge everywhere else.
